Sutter instruments P-30 vertical micropipette puller (earlier model)

The earlier model P-30 vertical micropipette puller is designed for the fabrication of basic micropipettes and patch-type pipettes. The earlier model is differed from the later P-30 model by setting pull parameters with digital indicator using 10-turn potentiometers, and mechanical setting of pull extension without micrometer. It able to pull micropipettes with tip diameters 0.3µm and moderate adjustable taper lengths (6 to 10 mm). By using a custom extension block, the P-30 is able to pull the double pull patch-type pipette. Used with thin wall glass capillaries, it will generate pipettes or needles suitable for microinjection, intracellular recording, and solution perfusion studies. The P-30 is ideal for laboratories performing electrophysiological, cellular, and micro-fluidic assays.

This P-30 is available with a Nichrome filament setup. The Nichrome filament is suitable for many applications and is not prone to damage.The optional Platinum filament setup more efficient at heating and cooling is available separately.
